During the year 2006 Wallingford Auto Park undertook a major renovation to the facility and now is a “State of the Art Facility” featuring a 10 Car Showroom and a Full Certified Service Department with a friendly staff to assist you. As a retiree without a place to go or anything to do, I needed to find a flexible part-time job without the management responsibilities and associated pressure I was accustomed to. An opening for a driver was available. My first thoughts were not to get involved with a used car dealer. However, I knew I could quit at anytime. Sam was an integral part of our business for well over a decade. He was genuinely interested in our professional as well as personal lives. Sam could educate you on just about every conceivable subject but he was a thoughtful mentor in the process. We looked up to Sam like a Father. He embodied the quintessential qualities of a wonderful employee, person, and most of all, our dear friend. Sam has etched a place in our lives, our hearts, and our souls. He will forever be remembered by all of us.
